What you are buying

Port Stephens Day Tour curates, coordinates and operates day tours from Sydney to Port Stephens, working with licensed local operators for components such as cruises and dune access. When you enquire, you receive a written day plan with your specific terms before any payment is taken.

Bookings and pricing

Confirmation, quotes, payment

• Quotes are given in writing at confirmation and are the prices you pay.
• Confirmation includes the itinerary, pickup arrangements, inclusions, exclusions and your cancellation terms — in writing, before payment.
• Changes you request before the day are handled where availability allows.

Weather and safety

The calls we respect

The bay and the dunes are delivered by licensed operators who hold the safety calls. If a component is called unsafe on the day, we restructure the day or reschedule with you — the operators’ safety decisions are final on their components, and that protects you more than it inconveniences you.

Participation

Fitness, children, conduct

• Fitness: the Tomaree climb involves a 161-metre continuous stairway and is optional within the day.
• Children are welcome with adult supervision; age guidance for each component is given at booking.
• Operator instruction: directions from skippers and guides on their craft are part of your booking.

Liability and law

Honest structure

Components delivered by third-party licensed operators are provided under those operators’ terms; their licensing and safety obligations sit with them, and our role is coordination and an honestly-run day. To the extent permitted by law, liability for a component follows that component’s operator terms. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
